A pack of 250 green plastic pegs for SchoolStore’s Number Board range. Use the pegs to make quantities visible, mark patterns and support children as they explain their mathematical thinking.
What you get

Classroom ideas to try
- Show a number: place pegs on a five-frame or ten-frame, then ask a partner to explain how many are present and how they know.
- Spot a pattern: mark multiples of two or five on a hundred board. Ask children to describe and continue the pattern.
- Compare two ideas: use a second peg colour, sold separately, to show two groups or two different calculation strategies.
Invite children to explain what they notice, compare different strategies and choose equipment that suits their learning.
