What you get
- 1,250 plastic pegs in total.
- 250 each in blue, white, green, red and yellow.
- Compatible with SchoolStore EVA Number Boards and frames; boards are sold separately.
Classroom ideas to try
- Two-colour number bonds: show four red and six white pegs in a ten-frame. Find a different way to make the same total.
- Compare patterns: mark multiples of two in one colour and multiples of five in another on a hundred board. Discuss the positions they share.
- Explain a calculation: ask partners to use different colours to show the parts of a sum, then explain how the parts make the whole.
Invite children to explain what they notice, compare different strategies and choose equipment that suits their learning.
